Uttar Pradesh Welfare for People Living with HIV/AIDS Society (UPNPplus) is a community based, non-profit organization representing the needs of people living with HIV/AIDS (PLHIV). UPNPplus is founded by a group of HIV positive people in 2004 and was registered in 2005, managed and run by people living with HIV in Uttar Pradesh. UPNPplus promotes holistic and participatory approach for community empowerment and gives priority to PLHIV (especially women and children).

 

Uttar Pradesh Welfare for People Living with HIV/AIDS Society (UPNPplus) implementing ‘Global fund supported ‘IAPSI’ AHANA Project: Improved Access to PMTCT public sector Services in 37 districts in the state Uttar Pradesh with support of Plan India as a PR Goal “The Program specifically looks at building skills (facilitate) at institutional (Strengthened peripheral health workers under the general health system) and community levels to increase uptake of PPTCT Services in Highly vulnerable districts”. Applications are invited for the below mentioned multiple positions.

Job Title: M&E Assistant [1 Post]

Key Responsibilities

1. M&E assistant will work under the direct supervision and guidance of M&E Officer of SR in the state and/or district assigned to him/her.

2. M&E assistant will support the implementation of Ahana MIS in the field.

3. M&E assistant will guide and support the POs and FOs in the field for the proper maintenance of Ahana MIS.

4. M&E assistant will be responsible for managing the private sector reporting in the geography responsible in consultation with M&E officer- SR.

5. M&E assistant will keep track of the private sector reporting managed by PO, and submission of report to SIMS in the districts responsible for

6. M&E assistant will be responsible for compilation of DMPRs of the states/districts assigned to his/her within the given timeline

7. M&E assistant will support M&E officer in preparation of SMPR & SQPR

8. M&E assistant would support M&E officer in analysing reports on a regular interval. Provide feedback with suitable analysis to the district where there is programme gaps i.e. screening/linkage or any other

9. M&E assistant to carry out regular data quality assurance visit in the field as per the guidelines and also submit the DQA field visit report to M&E-SR and PR State cluster Team (PRSCT).

10. M&E assistant will report to M&E Officer- SR

 

Person Specification

Essential Requirements:

·         Degree in Mater of Social Work/Graduate with at least 2 to 4 years of relevant monitoring and evaluation experience in the health or development sector. 

·         At least 2 years working in HIV prevention programmes or MCH related programme, including experience working with PLHIV and other marginalized groups

·         Preference will be candidate with experience in HIV

·         Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of project management

·         Excellent analytical, writing and verbal communication skills

·         Ability to work effectively in teams as well as independently

·         Ability and willingness to undertake extensive travel; primarily within the state/s assigned

·         Fluent in English, Hindi and local language

Desirable qualities/experience/skills:

·         Good understanding of developmental issues and the HIV epidemic in the project area

·         A good understanding of legal and ethical issues around HIV/AIDS and PLHIV issues

·         Experience of managing health programmes at State level

Salary: 1.6 Lakh + (Negotiation) Per Annum
