POSITIONS

 

Specific Job responsibility

 

Technical officer (03 Post)

For managing Uttar Pradesh and Bihar

 

Location: Lucknow/Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh

 

Job Duration: Aug 22- Mar 23

 

Salary: INR 35,200 pm

 

·     Support the implementation of Monitoring and Evaluation plans of Vihaan with SSR using eMpower application

·     Undertake periodic supportive supervision and onsite data validation (OSDV) visit to CSCs. Visits can be planned based on the performance of CSC, coordination and networking issues, management issues and any other pertinent issues. Keeping in mind, the budget allotted for travel, a site visit to be planned based on specific needs.

·     To undertake regular virtual meeting with CSC PC and ART team for data validation and reporting, review the progress and for capacity building.

·     To ensure timely submission of Monthly & Quarterly report to PR.

·     Collection and analysis of data from SSR and ensure the quality and authenticity of the data.

·     Contribute to the implementation of effective monitoring, review and evaluation strategies and activities for programmes against agreed project deliverables

·     Maintain up to date accurate records on MIS data and programme indicators at all levels.

·     Support the compilation of information, including workshop reports, quarterly and annual reports and review and re-planning reports.

·     Support the development of tools and resources for use by SR and state level partners in monitoring.

·     Support the implementation of eMpower application for the Vihaan programme at the SSR level.

·     Prepare data analysis of priority population and their coverage and provide feedback to SSR to enhance the quality of programmes.

·     Support SSR   in systems and procedures to ensure donor compliance.

·     Conduct programme evaluation and prepare strategic documents/reports and disseminate the learning through appropriate forums.

·     Support assessment processes within Vihaan Project in the State/Region to develop M&E capacity building plans for needs identified.

·     Provide support to the delivery of capacity building programmes for SSR.

·     Assist in managing any relevant external technical support that may be required for the SSR  

·     Monitor, review and evaluate the progress and impact of capacity building programmes.

·     Support the Programme manager in the compilation of information from attendance at external monitoring and evaluation initiatives.

·     Undertake periodic site visits for monitoring of project records at SSR level.

·     To train the community staff on data collection tools through methodologies best suited for them

·     Undertake periodic data analysis of target vs achievement and submit to SR and SSR team to understand the present gaps in the program and to facilitate the programme planning to bridge the gaps

·     Liaising with UPSACS, DAPCU and other development partners in coordination and data sharing.

·     In consultation with the Programme Manager, represent SR in appropriate state and district level forums.

·     Undertake other responsibilities not outlined above which are commensurate with a role of this nature and which have been discussed and agreed between the line manager and the post holder.

 

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

 

·     Degree in social sciences, health or development field (or equivalent) with at least 3 years of relevant project management experience in the health or development sectors. The criteria for selection will be relaxed for members from PLHIV or key population group with relevant experience and calibre and final decision lies with the interview panel

·     Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of project management at State level

·     Excellent analytical, writing and verbal communication skills

·     Good computer skills using MS office

·     Ability to work effectively in teams as well as independently

·     Preference will be candidate with experience in HIV/AIDS Global Fund funded project

·     Ability and willingness to undertake travel

·     Fluent in English, Hindi and regional languages

Specific Job responsibility

 

Data Manager (01 Post)

 

Location: Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh

 

Job Duration: Aug 22- Mar 23

 

Salary: INR 40,000 pm

 

·     The Data Manager will be based at the SR level and will be primarily responsible for managing the data collection at the field level, its analysis based on the agreed framework.

·     Responsible to contribute to the implementation of effective monitoring, review and evaluation strategies and activities for program against agreed project deliverables

·     Support in programme implementation and budgets with SSR partners/CSC’s.

·     Review the impact of advocacy initiatives, etc at the State level and provide information to the national team for documenting the best practices to enhance the visibility of the programme.

·     Work with other members of the Program team to liaise with SSRs in preparing and submitting programme and other reports on a timely basis, as required, for internal and external use.

·     Provide timely feedback on programme reports and other documents relating to program and partner NGOs.

·     Maintain up to date accurate records on all programme activities and lead partners.

·     Compile the data receiving from various SSR partners in the required reporting format ensuring the quality of data submitted which includes quarterly and annual reports and review and re-planning reports, workshop reports, etc.

·     Provide handholding support to the team members responsible for data collection and compiling in an ongoing basis.

·     Organise orientation for the newly joined team members and facilitate refresher training for team members on data collection, entry, quality adherence and its initial level analysis for reporting.

·     Support assessment processes within respective SR and reporting SSRs.

·     Support the development of capacity building plans for needs identified, especially in the area of monitoring and evaluation.

·     Provide support to the delivery of capacity building program to SSRs.

·     Monitor, review and evaluate the progress and impact of capacity building program.

·     Participate in the planning and implementation of the Programme work plan.

Finance & Admin Officer – 01 Post

 

Location: Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh

 

Job Duration: Aug 22- Mar 23

 

Salary: INR 27,400 pm

 

Specific Job responsibility

 

·     Maintain accounts at SR level

·     Forward granting to SSRs

·     Train SSRs in computerized accounts

·     Monitoring the accounts at SSRs level

·     Audit of accounts of SR and SSRs

·     Attend to external audits at SR

·     Developing financial policy at SSRs level

·     Develop budgets for SSRs and SR

·     Review of fund utilization at the SR and SSR.

·     Compilation and sending of monthly financial report

·     Training Finance person at the SSR in accounting systems and procedures.

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

 

·     Graduate in Commerce and Preferably MBA in Finance 

·     Having 2 year financial and administration experience as finance management for a reputed donor funded project

·     Computer knowledge in Tally ERP 9, MS office, Internet etc.

·     Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.

·     Having at least 2 years relevant experience in NGO or preferred in Community based organization

·     Preference will be candidate with experience in HIV/AIDS Global Fund funded project
